I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (which I originally featured in this post), and have been asked a lot about them ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I spotted mine on sale via Cettire and purchased them that way!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .

Are they true to size?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.
Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.
Are they comfortable?
They required minimal break-in time..
How do they perform over time?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they’ve held up beautifully. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong. Because they already look worn, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
Do they feel better than other shoes?
These are the best sneakers I own. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose wins in both comfort and quality. There’s a secret wedge inside that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Stunning.
Are they worth it?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them on sale is worth it. They’re worth the investment, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.
